Tracks

Worship Ministry Track

Come and connect in a worship experience! Christian Ministries Church has five different worship bands. This track is for interns gifted in the area of singing, playing an instrument, and writing songs. In this track you will minister closely with our Sunday morning worship team as we invite the Holy Spirit in an atmosphere of praise and worship. Any intern with a gift or calling in cooperate worship will learn, grow, and expand over the 10 months here at Leaders Academy.

Children’s Ministry Track

Our concept of children’s ministry is the same as what Jesus taught His disciples…”bring them to me.” (Luke 18:16) “The Edge” Children’s Ministry consists of 4 through 12 year olds who are led to experience the love of God in fresh, innovative ways. Teaching, worship, special events and games are all a part of “The Edge.” This track is a must for those who love children and want to be an influence in their lives.

Youth Ministry Track

No matter what your gifting may be, there is a place for you in “The Source” Youth Ministry. This is a fast -paced, energetic, “all hands on deck” ministry with many opportunities to make a difference in this youth culture. Here you will be able to connect with teens, develop your leadership, and gain personal mentoring from youth gurus Steven and Katie Sexton. Steven and Katie have over 10 years of experience working with today’s youth culture. This track is for anyone interested in serving the body through the ministry of youth.

Christian Education Track

If you are excited about the idea of being able to work beside seasoned, skilled, passionate teachers then this track is for you. The Christian Education track is designed to give our interns an opportunity to develop and use their academic gifting with today’s young people. Mentoring, being involved in the classroom, learning from qualified teachers and principals is an opportunity of a lifetime. This track is a great way to really make a difference in a young life.

Creative & Technical Media Track

This track is designed for those who know their way around a computer and have an interest in video editing, desktop publishing, audio podcast creation, soundboard technician, or worship software presentation. Interns will be working in a Windows/Adobe environment as they are trained in building videos for ministry, brochures, posters, and Leaders Academy audio podcasts. This has become an important area in ministry for this culture and Leaders Academy wants to use it to its fullest potential.
